Working of a UPI Custom Payment Gateway:

  3. UPI app (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.) prompts the user to approve the transaction.

  4. Transaction status is verified using API callbacks or polling.

  5. Funds are settled into the merchant’s account.

  6. Transaction details are stored in the database for records.
